never again

today, like an hour ago, i was walking from work to my car and in the middle of that joyful journey there was a roundabout.

now, i don't know why and i have no idea what the hell possessed me to do it, but i walked onto the actual roundabout.
i didn't realise the complications (and not to mention the STUPIDITY) of it until like 5 minutes later when i was just standing there watching cars going around and around and around and around.....
...then i thought "hmmm, the cars aren't going to stop.." when it hit that OMG ITS A ROUNDABOUT!! the cars give way to their right so there will be a continuous flow of cars going around meaning.... i won't be able to get out of the roundabout. -__________-

why am i so freaking stupid!!!
it was soooo embarrasing, cars were driving past and you could just see the smirks on all the drivers faces!! aaaarrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
"look at that stupid girl on the roundabout HAHAHAHAHA!"

to make matters worse i was in my uniform so people could actually place an identity to me.
oh the shame!
*sigh*

in the end laurie (work friend) saw me and stopped, honked at me, laughed, gave me a 'what-the-hell-are-you-doing' look and let me cross.

never again am i walking on to a roundabout, but i swear to god i've seen some people on a roundabout before.
