i love uni!!!

HAHA what a shock that title was hey? 'i love uni' ! LOL but seriously, today i really really did! it was damn awesome! i had three tutes in a row but technically two because i didnt go to my accounting one =X
anyway i had my marketing tute first which was alrite and then i had management straight after. we got our grp assignment back and OMFG! we totally fluked it!! 70% !!! HAHAHAHAHA can u believe it?! it was the dodgiest piece of shit ever and we achieved a DISTINCTION for it! we chucked a 9 hour session to start and complete it the day before it was due and oh my lord tht was hell. it started out all fun and exciting but by the end of the night we were all nearly at eachothers throat. but yeh the management tute was alrite too.

then

since i had a break me and leanne decided to go to shirley's marketing tute where they were having a class party (like in high school and primary school!! where everyone brings in food and the tables get put together hehe!). i didnt even belong in the class but i scabbed so much food i felt such a pig. we also had a quiz and their tutor never realised tht i wasnt apart of the tute LOL. there was so much food and BEER! this malay mature age student made like 3 huge containers of prawn crackers, sandwiches and biscuits (its always the mature age students tht r so hardworking...). it was all so coool!
but then wen it all finished the tutor talked to us abt the exam and my phone went off- right in front of her. she paused and stared right at me! i was so momentarily paralysed with embarrassment tht i didnt even apologise. lol oops.
yeh...i just found the whole party and quiz thing fun! and also the thrilling feeling tht i didnt even belong to the class added to the excitement. i know there is nothing thrilling abt tht....but still. just let me savour the moment ok?!
i guess its just nice to know tht u can still have tht sort of fun uni instead of it ending in high/primary school.


then after uni, me ceazer and eugene went to go get ceazer's L's hehe. we went to willagee but then ceazer 4got his letter of consent. so then we went back to his house and forged the signature (which i did a very bad job of by the way). we decided to go to the welshpool centre and i led the direction but got lost and then saved the day again after we weaved in and out of a thousand suburban roads. =D (go me!) ceazer kept saying tht all he knew abt the centre was tht 'there is a lot bush' HAHAHHA...sorry....i just find tht really funny. oh yeh! also something tht made me laugh throughout the whole time was wen eugene wud b driving and ceazer wud yell random road rules out to make sure eugene was driving properly LOL awwww ceazer ur a classic!

after THAT. eugene and ceazer went to play tennis at rossy and i sat on the grass listening to my ipod for little while. but then there wasnt enough racquets so while eugene played, me and ceazer stretched and did cart wheels on the oval HAHA. ceazer doing cartwheels hahahahahaha. when eugene took a break from tennis, we all had a running race around the oval and OMFG i cudnt even do a full lap. ceazer won followed by eugene and i came, predictably....last. i cut through half of the field and i STILL came last! oh the shame! but i have to admit, i havent done tht much physical activity since sport in yr 9 LOL. no wonder i get stitches from walking arnd uni....

before we went home i had to go buy milk and on the way to walking to the milk eugene sed to buy these cadbury thingos called 'snap' and OMFFFG they are sooooo goooooooood!!! me and my sister hav finished the pack already. and i spilled like a quarter of them in eugenes car hahahaha!

yeh it was a long day.....but an enjoyable one too.

btw in the time of writing this post, 5 trick-or-treaters have come to my hse and i have given them all a lollipop each. unless they are little cuties then i give 2, so they can rot their teeth...hehe... suckers.

haha....hmm....where shall i start....oh yeh first and foremost, how awesome was the war between 'random' and 'me' (our hero)?! i found it absolutely hilarious and entertaining! thanks guys!

sooo all the internal assessments have finally finished! hooray for tht! but now we've got the damn exams! i've been treating the past few days like holiday which is really bad since we only have 2 more weeks til exams. fark. i am so stuffed for them.

shit man....have absolutely no idea wat to write abt.
oh yeh! MOS!!!
tht was like 2 nights ago and my oh my was it awesome or wat!!!! i have to admit tht it was real boring at the start....so boring tht i got hungry and me and shirley actually went to the top and bought hot chips for freaking $4!!!! i mean who actually eats at METROS?! the person who served us kept laughing at us. i think he thought we were drunk or something cos shirley went up to him so many times asking him for more salt, then vinegar, then sauce and then tissues. hahaha. so funny.

then the whole rave started happening and omg it was sooo gooooood! although it wasnt tht good for the entire thing. only for awhile, it was still worth it just for tht small amount of time. when it all finished and we went out the sky was so bright! it was such a weird feeling ahha and i had work in like 2 hours. i still felt really energetic wen we were going home and wen i went to work. but after 1pm my whole body and mind were on the brink of collapsing. now approximately 42 hours after the rave my entire body aches. every bone, every muscle and every movement made is in agony. i wish i had a personal masseuse tht wud follow me everywhere. i can't wait til i regain full mobility of my limbs without pain again. its so bad tht everytime i chew my temples hurt LOL.

anyway.

for the past three weeks in which i havent blogged, i have surfed the net like crazy. its not funny, i think i seriously have an incurable addiction to the world wide web. whenever i am not online or wen i don't go on for a full night i feel so proud of myself- how sad is that!!!! hahahahahha! i personally blame it on msn, friendster, myspace and blogs.

well during my wasted time on the net i came across this site.....which is.... surprise, surprise... a blog. hehe. u guys might have heard of it already, but it isnt like a normal blog. what happens is, this person started up a thing where people from all around the world sends him postcards with their deep and dark secrets depicted in the picture on the front of the postcard. but they usually have words to explain their secret too. some of them are really funny and creative but others are really sad, like there was one of this woman dying from cancer but she is keeping it as a secret from her family. so this guy who receives all these postcards puts them on his blog which is http://postsecret.blogspot.com. go visit it now! the bad thing about it is that he doesnt have archives so u gotta visit it regularly.
yes i know wat u r all thinking- these people could all b lying! well true, yes they could be lying, but who cares! its fun to look at!

better go now, gotta go shirlims hse to meet the others. yay no acct lecture tmr! last week of uni this week- double yay! =D

petrol pumping

yesterday after uni along the way home me and eugene stopped by at a caltex gas station and filled up his little yellow car with the cushion thing on his front seat that makes ur ass feel weird.

anyway.

eugene parked his car and i ran out so that i could put the petrol in. i stuck the thingo in the slot in the car and clicked the handle. but the clickety thing kept stopping the petrol going in. now, the last time i put petrol in the same thing happened, but somehow i found a point where it just flowed. whereas this time i cudnt, it just kept stopping. eugene saw this and got frustrated and wanted to take over. i refused. but after a few more futile attempts, i gave in and eugene tried teaching me. this is where the funny bit starts...

he goes, "my dad said that u have to keep on pushing it in and out, like this...(i start laughing and eugene is amused too)... otherwise it doesnt fit".HAHAHA. at this point i totally lose it and crack up laughing. eugene hits me over the head and tells me to stop being so sick minded then he starts to laugh too. i think the asian auntie opposite to us must have thought we were those crazy siao kias.

yeh...i just thought that was funny.

anyway better get offline, watch the last bit of survivor, read and then sleep. wow, see how theres no study in tht little plan of mine? damn shame. so damn behind in uni.

LOL my tagbox!

well, let's start this post off with what i did in my day. =D

woke up, took bus, went to uni and attended accounting lecture. i like cheow wing wong, i think he is much better than jeanette and bob.

then after tht, me and yueh lai went to lin's house cos we had a 2.5 hr break. lin gave us brownies which were really yummy- not too rich but not too dry either. she also showed us around her house which is very big and nice! me and yueh lai were mostly shocked at the size of her bathroom and then we learnt tht she has THREE of them! lol.

after lin's hse we drove past tht nice mansion down the road again with the breathtaking chandelier and yueh lai took some photos. too bad they had the curtains drawn. =/

then back to uni for a boring boring lecture tht me and shirley talked the whole way through in....

i'm sorry (not really) to tht asia guy. there are heaps of other people who have links on their msn nics or blogs to the dance, i hope u are bagging them down too. i can take it off, if it really offends anyone but i never thought it wud b a problem. haha. unless of course tht was a joke, then i pat u on the back, cos it is amusing.

and then to random who sez my blog is boring....well.....DON'T READ IT. i have numerous links on the left hand navigation bar to other blogs, so u are welcome to click on them and read abt their thoughts on stuff rather than me ranting on about MY day. which i think is perfectly fine because it is MY blog and i can write anything i want on here, whether it is boring or not.

belated post: shirley lim's 18th bday picnic

about a week ago it was shirley's picnic. i found it fun and relaxing! it was nice to talk and catch up with people that i don't normally see at uni. and the food was yummy =) here are some pics.

pasar malam!

last night was the curtin pasar malam and boy, did we have fun! haha. i know alot of people didn't really enjoy it tht much, but i had a great time. this was partly or mostly due to the 'icey ice' desserts that we had. but more on that later.

eugene came to pick me up, but before that he called and asked for 'vanessa'. and i go 'yes?'. then he pauses and goes 'oh sorry, wrong vanessa, bye.' and i'm like okaaaaay then. lol.

15 minutes later he calls again and says tht he is outside my house. i go out and then i ask him how come he called me earlier on? and then he goes 'ohhhh was tht u?! i thought i got the wrong number'.....hahahahahha eugene! so funny! apparently it was because of my voice, which is ten times more worse today. i went to the doctors and he sed tht i hav tonsilitis and bronchitis. which sounds about right, cos my throat is killing & i cant talk.

anyway, bak to last night!

the craziness all started wen we all decided to go buy a dessert called 'icey ice' which is like flavoured ice carved/ cut so finely and nice. it was really yummy too. as we were ordering the person asked for our names and i go "omg! lets make up fake names!" and then from tht point on we just totally lost it.

there was something in that 'icey ice' thing tht made us go hyper! i'll show u wat i mean....

we also scored a free drink because i think the asian chick thought we already paid wen infact we had not, so shirley was like walking away going 'lets goo, she won't notice...' and then i start walking while joanne is standing there holding the money. but she walks off too after me and shirley walked away, then we just cracked up laughing.

hmm.....i cant really be bothered writing anything else but overall (as i have mentioned) it was an awesome night filled with laughter and fun (for us 3 only i think LOL)! another funny moment was when we saw guys punching eachother in the balls as a greeting and wondered why in the world would u do tht!?!?! i mean, its not like us girls thump eachother in the boobs wen we see one another!

then around 10.15 shirley and joanne went home and i was with eugene and his friends vincent and keagan.

eugene wanted to wait for the last band to start playing to c if they were good. we waited 15 mins for the band to set-up and wen they finally started playing, we left cos they werent tht good at all. hmm all tht waiting time for nothing! lol. then eugene drove us home with his backlights not working and him driving straight wen he was in a turning lane LOL. yes, dangerous....but at the same time, thrilling.

ok i think thats it for me now, better get off the net. i was supposed to have work, but i was too sick to go and have basically spent my whole time on the net...omfg...SAD!!!
