perth and me

i'm beginning to fall in love with perth.

lol.

as much as i hate waking up at 6.30am every morning, as soon as i walk out and inhale the fresh air, the tiredness seems to go away. its kinda like ur breathing in a whiff of euphoria haha.

theres just something in the air around 7.30am on winter mornings!

the bus ride to the city is also great. especially when ur on the freeway approaching the city and u can see the buildings in the distance with the sun behind and shining on the swan river outlining the ripples- it really is a nice scene!!

this whole week i've been tempted to just whip out a camera and start taking photos. but that would just direct unnecessary attention to me.

my favourite view has gotta be on monday morning (yes, yesterday!) when the fog was still around and it blurred out the lower part of the buildings. it was like this layer of mist and it looked like the buildings were floating on clouds.

sheesh, what am i turning into!!!!

i duno, but the bus rides are truly awesome- listening to my ipod, looking out the window over the river to the buildings that i will be arriving to in a matter of minutes.....

ONE more thing abt the buildings is sometimes when the mist and fog appears it reminds me of the hogwarts castle hahahaha. u know how with the castle there is also a layer of mist and fog at the bottom? well they do look similar! i'll take a photo one day and compare it.

kpmg vac work has been pretty good. today was the most boring day though, i'm starting to see numbers everywhere-urgh. i'm working in the bhp building so thats pretty awesome, theres a coffee machine (not tht i drink coffee anyway) but i make milo instead. and theres free sandwiches and fruit.

i love the view from our boardroom and the toilets the best.

the toilets r just so clean!! and they have mirrors on every wall. the taps have no handles they're those automatic sensor ones.

the view is absolutely breathe taking i tell u! i'll take a photo one day.

i took more of the chairs than the view, but i was in a huge rush!

it also smells really nice in the reception...i wonder what it is....

ANYWAY.

i cant wait for harry potter book to come out, how freaking damn exciting!!!

i havent even re-read the 6th one yet dammit...

the movie was good. but i kinda liked the last one better.

i think ron and snape dies in the book....i'm not sure, but thats what i THINK.

everyone is fussing over if harry or voldemort wud die, i frankly dont care- either way its the last book so it really doesnt matter who dies.

alrite i'm off.....6.30 wake up call again.....urgh. i have to set 3 alarms lol.

i have a ridiculous amount of books to read, my manager just keeps giving us all these new releases ON TOP of allll the other endless number of books i've always been meaning to read. bleh. i've totally lost my knack for reading, i wish it would come back soon. i miss reading and getting completely engufled in the lives of the characters, being in someone else's mind and world- an escape from reality.
oh how boring reality is right now.

well, not really.
been going out alot, but i'm just so freaking tired right now.

ANYWAY, went to watch transformers last night.
i can see wat all the fuss is about, but i didnt personally find it THAT great at all.
its funny and entertaining. but when the fight scenes came on, i fell asleep and woke up to find sam putting the cube thing in megatrons chest (sorry if u havent seen the movie yet) and thinking wat the! i wudnt normally hav fallen asleep but we were sitting so damn close, the audio was so freaking loud and the actions were so bright and fast! urgh!
plus i had been working for the whole freaking day.

i WAS going to write a rather interesting blog about well, my life and wat i have been thinking abt lately (it was very deep and thought provoking ok!!) but i need to get off the net cos its just takes up too much of my time tht cud be spent reading or doing something productive.
so instead, i shall post up photos from the party tht i went to on saturday.
it was damn awesome fun.
drank on empty stomach (never again!) and only took me approx 4 drinks to feel the effect.
it was a dress up party where u had to clash two themes together. i went as a scottish mexican... well actually, i just wore anything and that i cud get away with it. but apparently not, because i kept hearing ppl go, "what did she dress up as?!".

the night didnt start out great, which was pretty good cos then i decided to drink my troubles away and oh boy it was so much fun!! i dont really rmb y it was fun, it just was! the ppl (most of them) were fantastic to talk to. i also learnt how to tye a tie (or isit tie a tye???)

it did take me ages, and i think the boys got a bit irritated, but in the end i got it!!!

weir was dressed as...umm....no not sure, nor can i rmb.

the next morning where we woke up at 7am something after getting maybe 1hr sleep we went to the city. joanne was too hungover to drive, so i drove. we ended up getting lost but thank god for the UBD. and thank god for the car being auto, with those hills in the city and my lack of sleep, a manual car wud have been dangerous. i parked a long long away cos we had no idea whereabouts in the city were anyway. so we walked a mile to go eat dim sum, cos we cudnt eat anything sweet- it wud just come right back out. walking in that freezing cold wind blowing against my face was absolute hell. i didnt have a jacket and the urge to vomit was stuck in my throat. my stomach was empty, i was starting to get a headache and my ears were hurting from the wind.
wen we FINALLY reached the dim sum, joanne went to the toilet to yak and i downed all the warm nice tea there was in tht place lol. i gotta say, dim sum and chinese tea really is the best hang over food!
