msu ball & casino

casino & ruby room

feel soo out if it right now. lol. i "wanted" to study last night but nooo- ended up going to the casino and ruby room instead haha. morrison randomly called us while i was over at shirleys house to go cas. unlike last week wen i came home from metros and woke up 7 hours later i felt all fresh, this time i feel all dazed.

anyway!
we went to casino first and walked up and down the casino twice...how freaking sad. and then we decided to go ruby room but then ken sed his friend in vic park is having drinks. so me, shirley, stef, ken and morrison went to vic park to c ken's friend, sarah. we were there for like...i duno an hourish or mayb longer and they gave us a vodka mixed with orange juice. we were gonna follow them to the amp, but then we went back to cas instead haha.

casino was alrite, shirley won $100 omfg! too bad i didnt gamble haha. me and stef went to ruby room while morrison, twins, ken and cheng gambled.

the ruby room was ok, its much prettier and classier than metros. but i think i prefer metros. ruby room is waaay too crowded, u can just stand there and look like ur dancing because ppl arnd u would b pushing u. the music was normal, but as usual the good songs came on when we werent on the dance floor. there were like people of all ages there.
eventhough i always diss metros cos its FULL of asians, i think i like it better there- u know more ppl so its more fun.
we also saw muhammad, makeen and muhammad's primary school friend (i 4got his name). we pretty much stayed with them at the ruby room.

msu masquarade ball

two nights ago was the msu masquarade ball. haha...'masquarade'...only like 30% of the people there brought masks, other people *ahem joanne mok* stole masks from tables and claimed it as their own lol. it was alrite, more classy than our yr12 one last year, but the ballroom was heaps smaller! to sum it all up, i would say tht the ball wasn't shit but it was no way near worth the $84.25 i had to pay. however- the food was nice! we had prawns for entree, chicken for the main and for dessert we had tiramisu. check out the tiramisu...yummm, i didnt finish it though cos i was too full-

the whole night went really fast! i know it was 5 hrs but it seriously felt like 2. there was unlimited drinks but i drank more of coke and lemon lime bitters cos alcohol tastes like shit lol.
the music was ok, not really my cup of tea. but when westlife played me and joanne went full out on the dance floor and sang (i think we were the only people there tht knew the lyrics). shirley was absolutely hilarious, as she usually is with a little bit of help from the drinks. justine felt sick after drinking so was sitting with mun at the table, where they were later joined by jason, wei shyong and erm....gummy? i was like "WTF! how did u guys get in for free?!?! NO FAIR!"
we were put on the 'loser/random" aka "we-have-no-friends" table. it was all the way in the corner where we sat with total randoms. luckily they were nice randoms-
